The 100 Day festival that leads up to the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart will take place at Ripon Cathedral on March 28th. This is massive news for Ripon and the Le Tour Ripon planning group have worked hard to produce a world class Arts and Cultural Festival in the city to celebrate the Tour.

The following are now confirmed speakers for our 100 Days Festival:

Graeme Obree: 4th April – World hour record breaker and former world pursuit champion speaking at Ripon Cathedral

Alistair  Humphreys: 25th April – Around the world cyclist and adventurer speaking at Newby Hall

Rob Penn: 16th May – travelled the world to build the best bike possible, and made the film ‘It’s all about the bike’. This event as at Fountains Abbey, starting off with some jazz to get things moving along!

Andrew Sykes: 30th May, After cycling ‘Across Europe on a bike names Reggie’ he’s speaking at Ripon Cathedral

Graeme Fife: 27th June – Author of ‘Legends of the tour’ and ‘Inside the Peleton: Winning and losing the Tour de France’ will be speaking at Ripon Cathedral
